    Skipped a couple of steps in that video, how can you scan something externally and work out the internal parts, read that a part can rotate, and then the internal mechanism to change the head? :p

    Doesn't detract from the awesomeness though:thumb:

    I watched the whole thing and had the same question. I'm pretty sure they skipped the 5 hours of autocad drawing the internals.

    There would have been a fair amount of autocad to be honest. The mechanism would have to be adjusted to make it suitable. If you look at the "twirly thing" the metal version (original) is sharper than the plastic looking version.

    i have to wonder if they didnt just use a pre-fab auto-cad of any old crescent wrench. the printed wrench looks nothing like the original. the worm geat adjuster is much coarser on the printed design. that could be choked up to limitations in the printing hardware...but also note the ring on the end of the handle for hanging the tool. the original wrench just had a simple hole. the printed one had a hinged loop.
