    @ Cheap Mod Wannabe; Call me old fashioned, but I always like a panning shot to be horizontal. Something about the car going from left to right in a vertical frame doesn't sit right with me. my 2c.

    Went and had a walk with a mate who just recently purchased his first dslr. Pictures where taken at a lake near where he lives.

    50mm f1.8 iso 400

    Nice shots, I particularly like the first one. The second shot's nice but it's a shame the duck's tail got chopped off and also including the pond/lakescum. The third could benefit from being straightened and perhaps omit the distracting black post from the foreground.

    It's my least favorite supercar. I mean, I wouldn't say no to one but it doesn't get the front of my pants tight like, say, a Murcielago, or Italia or Aventador do.

    Oh I totally agree, still, a veyron isn't a sight you see everyday. I have only ever seen one in Australia and that was at a motor show, there is not 1 veyron owned and registered in the whole of Australia.

    I tried it brighter but I really didn't like the results, less evocative of time and place and more snapshotty I thought. It's perfectly viewable for me though, I haven't tried it on another PC yet.

    I'm jealous. Yosemite is on my wish list for vacation spots. One day I'll make it.

    I don't know why, but this image just works for me. Overall the water is calm, but the texture created by the water's movement reminds me of little tremors foreboding the coming storm seen in the distance. The analogous color scheme works in this image. I like how the calm greens suddenly turn to a more violent blue and purple.

    We spent less than a day there (basically drove through, stopping frequently) but I definitely loved it and do want to go back soon. Ditto for the Grand Canyon.
