from the little I have heard about these fans, they did indeed have a bit of a speeding problem, some people have reported speeds around 10,000 rpm!!! Whether or notthese speeds are accurate or not I an not sure. they did overheat severely though, enought to melt the insulation on the internal wires thus shorting out the fan and stopping it..... not a good thing at all They still look cool though
i think that the reports of them running at 10k rmp was something about how it sends its rpms. some computers just read it incorrectly when make it read insanly high. edit: but i really love how they look. its probably one of the best looking fans in my opinion.
