I recently purchased a new case of the Corsair, the 650D, but now I have one big question... sell it to get a 700D or continue with it? The 700D is almost the price I'll sell the 650D. The cases are these: 650D Obsidian Series® 650D Mid-Tower Case 700D Obsidian Series® 700D Full-Tower Case I count on your help
700d is bigger and I usually used for water-cooling. 650 is mid tower and is a better air cooler. I wouldn't swap unless you are going to wc.
I would also stick with the smaller build unless you are going to watercool. Even if you were going to watercool, it would be cooler in my opinion to squeeze it all into the 650.
700D is a colossal case like the 800D, however the air cooling isn't great (I had the 800D and ditched it for a Raven as I'm air cooling).
By the stylish, the 650D is good, but i'll change the window, and i'll go to buy another panel, but the 700D have more place to put a WC, and that is my goal. Anyway, the 700D is best for WC wich the 650D?
The Corsair site still sell the 700D for U$ 249.99: http://www.corsair.com/cases/obsidian-series/obsidian-series-700d.html
Easy fix for the 700/800D airflow problems... Install a Lian-Li drive bay intake and put a GT in it. Linky: http://www.tekheads.co.uk/product/Lian-Li-525inch-Black-Front-bay-cooler-120mm-Fan_25482.html Worked a treat for me. Brought internal temps down nearly 10c by the time I finished.
I really love that idea for my 800D but i only have 2 x slots left. 2 taken by my XSPC Dual Res/Pump & The other a dvd player Shame that really.
In that case.... improvise, adapt and overcome!! Linky: http://www.shinyhardware.co.uk/prods/showprod.asp?pid=16770 ...and go find a quiet 8cm fan with decent throughput to replace the stock one.
