I know....I am a party pooper.:waah: But then again, the mental image of a Texan making out with an owl, was quite disturbing....:worried:

LOL...Yeah I know. Luckily he said squirrels, not rats. Would have been great fun though. :D

Well, I think that the expression "He's got rats in the attic" is only a danish saying?

    Thanks, everyone.
@nutman - Heck no! I'm not making a new one. It would be easier to grind off the end of the grill, but it really is invisible.
"Rats in the attic" sounds suspiciously like "bats in the belfry." :worried:

-working on the optical cage finally.

I'd be offended if it wasn't true.

Let's rephrase it, transform it, internationalize it and nod our heads together at the fact that you need quite some "Rats in the belfry" in order to be a good case modder.

As long as they aren't chewing on the wires up there, I'm good.:D
Finished sanding the last set of fins today. It's amazing what you can get done babysitting the mill for 3+ flipping hours.

-SR1 covers in place. I'm noticing this case is getting heavy already...
-Milled out some rams horns in polycarbonate.
-This is a pic taken at the 2 hour mark. I did a double pass on these to get a cleaner edge.
-Here's what I have after three and a half hours.
-A rough layout of what I have of the optical assembly.
-That milling gave me a lot of time to sand, so that last set of fins finally got polished.
    -Glorious!:D
    [IMG]
-And I stuffed the radiator back into the case so I can look into the fit of the last grill. -Ignore the floating spork.
    Thanks again to my sponsors.:D

...ehhh... don't let Rusty (the guy that lets me use his shop) hear you. He's been pestering me to setup some designs/models for brass and copper casting.

Wax is for Luddites. Make the carving out of foam like a real man.

I hate having to google an insult.:(
I guess it could be shipped if the sculptor also made the plaster mold... Takes all the fun out of a project when you can't do it yourself, though.
