YMMV of course, but it didn't strike me as preachy. Stays pretty sci-fi, set millions of years in the future on a different planet. There are some religious themes (in the context of the fictional religion, not Earthly ones), some men vs. women things (set in a city where women rule) and some freedom vs. safety themes (hooray thought control!). Also brings in some more of the sentient AI/omnipotent machine stuff that Jane brought to the Ender series.

Never read all of the Alvin Maker series, stopped reading for similar reasons, only with that series I made the mistake of buying before reading. Libraries are your friend!
Can never look at it the same way again. :wallbash:

    Lian Li K58 ($65)
    Thermaltake Frio ($32).

Wish I could use the Frio, this build is for my cousin.

    That frio looks mighty delicious.

Eh, I got a Scythe Mugen 3, it's good enough as it is. Although i REALLY want that Frio.

Thank god i5s aren't hot though. I'm kinda excited, this Lian Li is my second Lian Li build. I'm expecting good quality.

Very nice! I went to visit a friend at the weekend (well, actually it was a gathering but nevermind) and he's recently replaced his R32 with an A5 due to the mentally high cost of petrol. Grips the road like glue.

Not strictly a purchase but it's phone upgrade time.

Current Phone: Motorola Dext (rooted & CM7)
    Current Contract: 35quid/month

New Phone: Samsung Galaxy SII (free)
    New Contract: 20quid/month

Thanks mate:thumb: The R32 holds the road well! As for the A5, the grip is awesome, compared to my Jag. Although the tyres are 245/40/18, which do help with the handling, and also not forgetting that the A5 is a bit of a wideboy, which also helps when going around bends!

I'm very chuffed with it, and its a real head turner...(Which my misses hates, as it attracts the ladys attention).:D

Cheese & Onion pasty & a bottle of Magners; went down town to post a parcel to find the post office closed for lunch hour due to staffing shortages- couldn't be arsed to go home again and come back later, so bought lunch and sat on a bench on the seafront for an hour. Nom noms.

True_gamer. The A5 is absolutely stunning...

I would've settled for an A3 if I had the cash though.

After a good while of thinking I finally decided to buy an Eye-Fi, my newest computer lacks a cardreader and I just cba to do a cord-transfer.

    *nerdgasm*

Also do buy the Humble Bundle, there's some really nice games in it!

EDIT: They just added 5 additional games so there's 10 games all in all + Minecraft (for free until the 14th of August)
