If you have a chance to collect it from Tilbury personally, and can wait around 10 days, I can send it to you, no problem.

Unfortunately it would cost me too much to get to Tilbury despite it being just down the road from me.

One last step to go before test run, and a quick question.

Do I need to install that inner tube ?

If i read the whole thing properly you have never done a test run until now. And now you said that you are going to do a test run, right?

Are you going to test run it with it connected to the motherboard? I advice you not to do it because if there are any leaks it would damage the motherboard. Do a test run without any electronics close to the water cooling set.

Up and running, no leaks so far.

Yes I'm doing the test connected to the motherboard, but only power is at the pump by the moment, so even if there is a leak, and it contacts with the mb, it won't make anyharm as there is no electricity.

Now to getrid of the air in the loop, is there anything that I should do, or should I just leave it run itself for couple of hours ?

Also is it normal to hear that waterflow voice coming from the cpu block ?

I had to do loads to bleed my loop, the biggedt pain was the rad as I had to physically remove it from the case to get the air out...

That cpu block probably had some air in it, so you'll need to lay the case on its back to remove it.

I always run my loops for 2-3 hours just to make sure nothings leaking (it was 5 for this build as some of my fittings were leaking and paranoia set in...)

    What coolant are you using?

I'm using AT Protect UV Blue

Now its quite silent, (without the fans, of course :) )
That flow noise is almost gone but I will do as you say.
The pump is running, I'll leave it running for couple of hours.

Also I'm thinking to change the front 120 mm fans of the case with ty 140's. And the 140mm noiseblocker XK2's are not as quite as expected :(

I thought it only had 120mm mounts at the front... And tbh, the Elysium cools better than my HAF 932 did as standard using WC...

The good thing is that the ty140's can be installed to 120mm mounting holes.

Just checked. You are right :miffed: there isn't enought space at the bottom bay, but if you cut 2 mm from each side of the fan, you can fit it at the upper section.

Personally I think the standard fans are very good and wouldn't need replacing...

All is done, up and running. The weight is 28,5 kgs :duh:

Now running the Prime test(Small ftt) and the temp is stabilised at 60 degrees. Ambient temp is around 30 degrees. (Cpu at 4,5ghz. 2600K )

Is it good or bad ? I was expecting something better.

It does seem a little warm, but it could be those fans on the ran aren't powerful enough, or you have air in your CPU block/rad perhaps...

So, here are the finished photos, bad quality. Need to take some proper photos asap. Also need some cable management as well, at the back and behind the harddisks.

Currently I'm running the fans at half speed, and the temps. are at 35 degrees at Idle and daily use (web browsing, download, etc)
And when I completly turn off the fans the temps are raising to 40 - 41 degrees max.
So don't know if the problem is with the fans, any other problems, or if this is the best this setup could do. By the way, the ambient room temp is 27 - 28 degrees.

Anyway, here is the second rig that we are building now for a friend, another 240 xspc rad will go to the top.

He has some universal blocks (Alphacool hf14 smart copper) for his 6870's, but unfortunately this is how they look when mounted to the gpu. Now do you think that this Gpu's will survive ? or should he better skip this and go on with the original cooling ?
