Modding Split loom cable tidying

    Just thought i would show you the asthetic benefits of split loom around your ide/power cables. This stuff can be bought at radio shack and costs about 3 dollars US.

    I did mine with their spiral wrap. About the same effect, but I think the spiral wrap looks better. Now if I could just find it in florescent colors.

    I don't particularly like split loom, I prefer this stuff :)

    That stuff is the best but you have to admit that split loom and spiral wrap is much easier. You don't have to remove all of your connectors and shrinkwrap your ends. I think I would rather buy a sleeved PSU from Phire at performancePC before I yank my PSU out and deal with that mess.

    It all depends what you are willing to do.. :D

    well, I have two kids... so not much... :hehe:

    but that does give me a good idea "Hey boy... commear... turn of Dragonball Z and sleeve this PSU... unplug it first..."

    Looks nice, reminds me that I really need to get rid of the rat's nest in my comp... hmmm that gives me an idea, where could I find a nice hampster wheel... modded with a fan of course!!!:lol:

    Now i do like that coloured expandable sleeving that altron showed us. So whats peoples opinions on this stuff?

    The thing I don't like about split loom is its size; you get a few small cables inside a 1/2" diameter tube.
