for those of you on the west coast of the 'states, whos going? i guess 3-day passes sold out in record time this year, and we missed our chance. we settled for single day passes for friday and saturday....cost a fortune doing it that way this will be our (fiancee and i) first major convention of this type and we are incredibly excited even though its still over 3 months away. im hoping some new hardware or games are revealed over the weekend
This is what I get for being lazy. Was going to pick up a 3-day pass though now that's not happening I suppose. Probably going to snag a day pass for Saturday. Never been to PAX before, but recently attended Sakura Con which was also held in the convention center to give an idea of the scale. It was an awesome experience, very excited to see how PAX compares.
if your feeling lucky, you can keep an eye out on the PAX forums. i guess once the single day passes are closer to being sold out, they are going to let people that have 3-day passes but cant use them sell their passes on the forums. i just didnt want to risk not getting any passes at all.
Bidding and negotiating isn't my comfort zone, I'll just skip out on the other days and call it good.

on a somewhat related note, an envelope arrived in the mail today: passes for my fiancee and i plus a friend of ours from high school EDIT: sorry bill, somehow i didnt see your post yesterday (and i just got the email notification today ) the 3 day passes sold out within about 2 weeks this year. im not sure how long it has taken the single day passes to sell out since i stopped watching after we purchased ours. you definitely have to be on the ball if you want to go to this expo.

will do. if your hell bent on going, there are plenty of passes still for sale on craigslist. some arent terribly overpriced.
