So just seen This in an email from Scan...

Just looking for some advice really, I think this would be perfect for me.

I need to hook up my main PC and media PC to some kind of storage effort. I could put 2 x 2tb in there and that would be more than enough storage for me.

I want to keep all my films and music on there so I can play from either my PC or my media PC.

    Would that do the job?

EDIT: Oh, it's only got one ethernet point... Seem kind of pointless.

    EDIT EDIT.

Would I be able to connect it to a router connected to the PC and media centre and access it that way?

It's a network attached storage drive so it is designed to be plugged into a router, the router will then assign it an IP Adress which you can then access the settings for the device though an internet browser. It would appear as a network drive in your my computer, I also had a quick look and says then it has a USB connection too. So i would have thought you would be able to directly hook it up to your computer via USB too :)

    Wow, this is awesome.

I might get one of these and a pair of 3Tb drives!

    Cheers Zin.
