Doubt my list is even worth posting tbh -_- ATI 3200 Mobility - Laptop i bought like 5 years ago XFX 6850 - First built computer from about 3 months ago <3
Wow, lots, Quite a few SIS cards along with tridents, you used to be able to buy the memory in dip form and upgrade it yourself!, some significant ones were.. 3dfx voodoo Matrox g400 (still going strong on a vinyl cutter to this day!, dual display cheesecake) Ati 9800 Ati 1900 Ati 5700 Edit, I should add the ATI All in wonder, which was a great card for capturing video!
Desktop: VooDoo TNT2 Ati 9500 Pro 6800GT 7600 GT 9600GT Asus 260 SLI (216 Core) Zotac GTX 570 Zotac GTX 570 (SLIed) Lappy: ATI Radeon Xpress 200M NVIDIA NVS 135M ATI 4670 There mayb some more desktop cards in-between but cant remember em
Racks brain for model numbers... 3dfx Voodoo 2 (PCI) - shoved in an old emachines converting family computer in Quake machine! Nvidia 4200ti (i think that was it's name?) - in first scratch build "for the family" ATI X800Pro - modded to an XT with some tinkering (1st own PC) ATI X1900XT - easily overclocked to XTX speeds Planning new machine likely to contain Geforce GTX570 for playing a great deal of Battlefield 3 on my 42" TV (my wife's gonna love me!)
Voodoo2 was my first and 560ti my last. Too many in between to remember and list! Great post! Reminds me of some of the awful cards I bought in between!
Ah the memories... Tha "main" graphics card (e.g. there's been other cards in other systems over this time) has taken a journey like so... 3Dfx Voodoo PowerVR 3Dx nVidia Riva128 nVidia Riva TNT PowerVR Neon250 nVidia geforce2 MX nVidioa geforce2 GTS nVidia geforce3 nVidia 4200 <I was apparently skint in this gap, as I don't recall any upgrades between the 4200 and 5900> nVidia FX5900 ATI 9800 Pro nVidia FX5950 ATI 9800XT nVidia 6800 (GT? Can't recall which one specifically) nVidia 7800GT nVidia 8800GTX And at around that point I tallied when I had spent on graphics cards, watercooling and general relentless upgrading over the years, flogged the gaming PC and got a PS3. I've been living on onboard graphics since then, with no regrets!
Oh god.. Geforce 2 GTS Geforce 2 MX400 Geforce 3 Ti500 Geforce 4 Ti4600 Geforce 5 fx5600 Radeon 9800 Pro Radeon 9800 XT Radeon X600 Pro Radeon X1650 Radeon X1950 Geforce 6800 Ultra SLi (PCI-E) Geforce 7900GTX SLi Geforce 7950GX2 Radeon 3870 Crossfire (Worst card ever made) Radeon 4870 Crossfire Radeon 5870 Crossfire Geforce 8800 GTX Geforce 8800GT SLi Geforce 480GTX Geforce 460GTX SLi Geforce 580GTX SLi through various means, mainly working in the industry till recently.. shameful!

GeForce 5500 - do not remember any more info on that thing... GeForce 6800 Ultra X1950 Pro 512Mb GeForce 8800GTS (original one) GeForce 8800GTS (newer one? I cannot remember) GeForce GTX260 just purchased a GeForce GTX570 as well I really should try ATI again...
Riva TNT - which i think had 16Mb of RAM! Geforce 2 - cant remember specific model. Radeon 9800 Pro - A beast of a card that lasted for years! I cant remember what the hell it was but I bought a volt modded card off the forums. 8800GT 5870 Vapour-X
Agree with the statement on the 9800pro was brilliant for it's time and lasted longer than the cards do today as not much could replace it Sent from my GT-I9000
No I cant remember all of them as there were god knows how many different ISA/VLB & PCI cards!. First decent card was a Riva TNT2 32MB (far better than the i810 onboard) ATi X700 Sapphire X1600pro Sapphire HD2900XT 512MB(twice!) Power Color PCS+ HD4850 512MB - great card and still going in my spare rig. Sapphire HD5830 1GB (was in the machine I bought from my mate) Crappy VIA Unichrome Pro on my old laptop
Desktop: Voodoo 2 Voodoo 3 Geforce 2 ATI 9#00 LE Geforce 7200 GS Geforce 7600 GS GTX 260 (Core 216) Notebook: 7900GS ATI 5470 with switchable power saving GMA 4500
Prices are directly translated from Norske kroner (NKR). Never really bothered to buy anything from abroad because of the high customs duties here. Sapphire X1950XT (2007) 180£ - Those cards were a bloody good bargain at the time, but it became victim of my first overclocking attempt. Noisiest card I've ever owned. Club3D X1950XT (2007) 165£ - Replacement card, had a different cooler, which did an amazing job. Accelero x2, I think it was called. Both card and cooler now does its job in my HTPC. XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB (2008) 120£ - Bloody cheap, bloody fast. Asus HD4890 (2009) 120£ - Another bargain. Thought I'd put a custom cooler on it, but it already came with one without me knowing, which is the main reason that this is my current graphics card. Soon to be upgraded though, will be moved to my HTPC.
Newest to oldest Sapphire HD3850 Realtek 6800GT ATI Radeon 9800XT (best card ever!) 3dfx Voodoo 5 3dfx Voodoo 3 3dfx voodoo 2 with a matrox 2d card 1 MB tseng graphics adapter (shitty ISA card)
In my first PC it was a basic on board intel piece of craapppp. Which I upgraded to a: Point of View Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT I then built a computer and got myself a: XFX Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 Black Edition I then upgraded my computer to it's sandy bridge setup and got a : MSI Twin Frozr 2 NVidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti I then decided to upgrade that again, and now have SLi Twin Frozr 560s
