So guys after ordering a Fractal R3 and having it turn up with a very large dent in the back I now need a new case and was hoping that I could get a couple of recomendations here I'm looking for somthing under the £90 mark plus shipping thats quiet and cool and perferably looks good.
i've been looking at the new corsair carbide series...my rv02 is so loud compared to my old p182 that despite the amazing temps i am thinking of selling and grabbing the 400r... might have a look urself...
:O change the fans maybe chum? add some sound deadening foam inside perhaps? Just don't get rid of it D:
it's got those air penetrators, which i love...it's more about the top exhaust vent, really hard to deaden the sound...probably just need to quit being a baby about it...it's not any louder than my work pc really...and with the temps here finally getting below 100 F, i could probably knock the fan speeds down a notch @op, am i missing something here though? can't you get the fractal replaced?
I would but I can't find one anywhere they are completly out of stock but if you know where I could get one now that would be great.
I tried but they only had a few Fractal Arc's in stock and it was 2 weeks till they get some new R3's.
scan have got the Raven 2 RV02B-EW Evolution for £100!!!! so I'd grab that while you can as it wont last long, looks like they are clearing it out cheap as a usb 3 version is imminent
Try the sharkoon scorpio 2000, it's nice and roomy, looks good IMO and has good cable management and cooling options, very well priced too at around £55.
