Graphics Lockups on alu assessment

so im building a system for a friend,

specs are:
asus p8p67 le
i5-2400
8gb corsair dominator 1600
gtx 560 ti
thermaltake tr2 850w psu
widows 7 ultimate x64

so my problem is that it runs in the desktop fine, but as soon as i try and run the windows experience index and it gets to the alu assessment the pc locks up. i also tried furmark and as soon as the benchmark starts the computer locks up. Ive tried 4 different versions of the nvidia drivers. any idea what to try that may be causing the lockups?

 

Check event logs for any errors around the time that you encountered the lockups

 

It's a CPU related problem.

Are you sure you've set the correct CPU voltage in the BIOS?

i just left all the voltages on default

 

figured it out, simply got sold a dead card from frys
