It does look very good, i had many many fantastic hours playing the origional in the mid 90's, ah the memories of persuadertroning about 20 people and have them follow you with weapons.
Hmm...looks like a great game from the trailer. However, to me it is a syndicate game only by its name. Still...if it is good..I'll play it.
If it can live up to the original then it will be fantastic, if it lives up to its trailer then it should be terrific, if it can live up to both then it should be awesome. However, anyone can make a good trailer, its how good the actual game is that matters. I've seen so many dissapointing games in the past that had either good trailers or good demos to get too excited until the finished product is on sale.
Worth keeping an eye on methinks, but I'll try and contain some excitement. If it's even half as good as the trailer makes it look it should be worth playing.
Does look strikingly similar to Deus-Ex. Sadly I was too young for the original. Heard many good things though.

Still holding a grudge against it for being too far removed from the game I played in my childhood...
This. Although it looks like it could be a good shooter in its own right. My only concern is that it's (A) either all just mindless shooting (like most shooters), or (B) Designed to be a bit of everything like Deus Ex. What I ideally would like is for it to be a proper first person equivalent of the original game. In other words, I want to walk around pretending like I'm not really an agent... quietly doing my mission. And then when it all kicks off, it really kicks off. I want big action huge fights without feeling like the game is not cut out for it and would rather me sneak through or be doing it some other way. And yet I don't want the whole game to degenerate in to one big mass of carnage either. The original game had you do some proper 007 type missions where you steal a car and drive in to an enemy compound, kill one guy or brainwash them, and then jump in an armoured car and escape before all hell breaks lose. It was a mixture of tactical missions and missions where you just have to wipe out 100 bad guys and not be concerned with collateral damage.
