2 guys here died. the first death triggered the closure of all schools. the second died a few hours later, just a few hours ago.

This SARS thing is really getting out of hand. 700 plus people here in Singapore are grounded at home by law. They leave their home and they will have to pay a fine of SGD5000 [devide by around 2.8 to get the pounds equil.].

Now over 70 people here in Singapore is infected with this, and it all started with 3 women who came back from Hong Kong. :eeek: 5 more people are reported to be infected with this again. :worried:

I'm now so bored, I dunno what to do when school's out. THe bad news is, this closure will affect my summer holidays,..... 2 weeks off my summer holidays.

Haven't they developed a test for it? Couldn't they just send everyone who tests positive home?

I've been to both Hong Kong and Singapore (September - October '02), I really enjoyed it. I want to go back sometime, but not anytime soon. Don't want to get sick now do I? A few people here in NZ came back with SARS, they're in isolation at a hospital not far form me :worried: .

No offence to yourself, but i dont think you should be happy and cheerful over the fact 2 people have died and because of it your school as been closed.

Just seems wrong, i would be personnaly worrying, and wondering if some1 in my class has got it, or if i could catch it from somewhere.
