With the same colors I airbrushed the Hardware bulkhead First step Second step third and final last step, the front side bars
Let's go on ?????? Yessssss First, using the diamond disk, I cut to size the plexy of the two bulkheads. Before the transparent then the red with the cutting plotter, I created two stickers for the bulkheads, the giant logo that will be applied on vertical transparent and the skeleton of spine rex Here's the sticker of the skeleton after removing the excess
First we take the bulkhead with the shape of the spines rex and check that everything is in place A closer detail Then put the plate underneath the red plexy We begin to apply the sticker With the help of the light table, everything becomes easier
Remove the bulkhead and end up applying the sticker Then reposition the bulkhead Also position the hardware bulkhead
Very good job Weiss! I like the plaster solution to create the "lava" effect! An original solution in this type of work!
Here's the top of the case, take a look in the holes the fresh lava effect No one here is still, I went to work even my girlfriend, with a cutter shaped the red sticker placed on slits
We begin to assemble the case First step, assemble 5 Apollish vegas red (even if you only see it in photos 3) Place the first two under the roof Two on the front and one on the back I also mounted the mainboard, but it' s only for test
Front side and top mount Turn on the fans and see the effect, unfortunately, I was made the pictures with the phone and are not nice Here is the top in place, accompanied by the smooth new grille in black We close then with a detail of the front after staying power button
To create the lighting system of the dinosaur, I was think to led , to neon, but neither solution was able to light it evenly. The two simplest solutions were: 1) Apply a layer of opaque plexy behind the plate and apply on the edges of the red LED, 2) As above but using the plexy speckled like the one below, but the price is somewhat prohibitive :-( Think and think again and the idea comes, in the lab had this 19" lcd monitor dead I unmount it And I pull out the entire lcd panel
At the same time I open the panel in two, you will notice that inside there is a sheet of plexy as shown dotted few steps back And here's our dotted plexy plate By the same monitor I have also removed the neon lights that illuminated the plexy sheet I then took an inverter to the classic neon PC Will it work?
Yes, it works :-D Then applying it to the base of plexy and we see that the light spreads evenly Then place the dinosaur plate on the red light, lights perfectly We therefore support the bulkhead on plexy plate and do a photo in the dark And an half-light I finally reached the desired effect. Ciao
To apply the red plate to the bulkhead, I used a glue called millechiodi (one thousand nails in English) I applied a little on the edge of the plate with the dinosaur and I glued to the plate inside of the bulkhead, I fixed the neon on the top Perfect fit
Turn the bulkhead, and with the millechiodi, I glued the slab of plexy dotted, over the red plate and turned on the neon Toss and turn again the bulkhead, here it finally lit up by the same method, I glued the plexy plate with the logo on the Hardware bulkhead turn the bulkhead and admire the result
