Sounds like it is going to play just like Bioshock.
The 1st games was somethong fresh and new and they should have left it there as stated in this preview.

Woohoo. Another linear shooter pretending to be an RPG that moves slower than an impacted bowel and thinks Ayn Rand plus Fallout equals clever.

Ah well. I wouldn't wish unemployment on these guys, the first Bioshock was at least a half decent System Shock 2 remake, even if they did forget to add any difficulty, and if this kind of refried drek keeps them in business until somebody thinks of something new then fair play to them.

Sounds like they're useing the success of Bioshock to flog a few copies of a totally unrelated game, bit like what Crytek did with FarCry 2.

Crytek didn't make Far Cry 2 and had no involvement in it at all.

    It was done by Ubisoft.

never underestimate the stupidity of the uneducated masses, its unfortunate the majority of them are console gamers.

True, but the original game sold a truckload of copies so it's unsurprising that they want to capitalize on it as much as possible

Was amazed by the first (although it was by no means in the leagues of SS2), enjoyed the second quite a lot (plasmids and weapons at the same time just felt a lot better), but tbh this is looking a little stale and boring now.

Not excited, but I will see what reviews say when it comes out.

Well I'm looking forward to it, I enjoyed the last two Bioshock games and I'm sure I'll enjoy this.

Crows instead of Bees?! I'm not sure what which of the two would terrify me more.

On the other hand, it does look like more of the same with a new setting and residents that aren't as psychotic. I might pick it up cheap unless it pulls something out of the bag between now and release, I don't hold much hope for that happening though.

I'm interested in this game. One question though, if you ever get to play the pc version before release (not likely) with a Keyboard and mouse could you tell me how it feels?
Bioshock 1+2 felt awful with KB/M. I finished both games and didn't feel "comfortable" the whole way through both. They were clearly designed very much with a joypad in mind as the primary controller and I hated just how bad the PC controls felt.

Did you actually get to play the game Joe? It's a very short preview and it reads more like you watched a demonstration by the dev then a hands on experience.

I played the first one when it came out, but I didn't finish it. I enjoyed it a lot and will probably try and complete the first and second Bioshock games before playing infinite.

Cmon, are you serious? Games are still going for the gravity gun of Half Life 2. Instead of the gravity gun there's a magic hand. So sad that they can't come up with something new and brilliant. Other than that it looks awesome.
