I now have about 15 sites bookmarked for fans, but its hard to tell where to buy. Anyone have any suggestions/recomendations? Until I get to my mod tools and cut some holes, I can handle a 120mm and a few 92mm fans. I'll be using them on the normal molex connectors rather than powering them from headers on the MOBO.
It would help to know where you're going to be shopping? In Canada, (toronto region) I would recommend Canada Computer or Infonec or evenBigfoot computers
Sidewindercomputers.com is good, they sell the ultra-powerful Delta FFB series. I own one and it rocks my world. Directron.com has great selection, but their prices are questionable. Are you looking for quiet fans, any kind, or super powerful ones? Sites offer different types usually, be more specific -sitra
super quiet isn't too much of an issue. I want to keep the noise down, but I don't need dead silence. There just seems to be so many odd resellers out there that it is a bit daunting trying to pick somone. I certainly want a good price, but google can't tell me how good the individual dealers are
You have to look at the individual sites. DO NOT take any fans that have noise of 40 DBa or higher if you want to keep the noise down.
I can't believe no one has mentioned NewEgg yet. They have a BIG selection of fans from super quiet to 54dBa Vantec and Delta screamers. I'd definitely give them a look since your in the US.
