Update #06 :: Some covers and a new toy

Well well well... It's Holiday! And the reason for this heavy delayed update is 1) Exams (Which are over now) and 2) My Aquarium (Which is so-too-say settled now)

I haven't made a lot of progress because for some reason the part I'm busy with is quite hard. It does have some improvements too.

More news: The reservoir will be shipped to me shortly!

Firstly, what I did was cut off the side part of the PSU and rad cover, because it was skew and made things difficult. I them made a panel that attaches to it nicely.

The work-space has been cleaned up and I made more space for my baby. I also got another toy, Mr. Drill Press. It take s longer to use it vs a hand held drill, but it is waaay better.

This little part has been giving me some trouble but I'll finish it tomorrow.

What are you using to cut and bend the aluminum?

    Edit: NVM

:p Why? does my bends look bad? I'ts bent with my hand and some round stuff like pipes. I use the jigsaw or hacksaw to cut most of it.

Great work on the aluminium!! really made my jaw drop till the floor!
But don't you worry you will get a problem when you fit a dvd-drive in there? Or will you use a slot-in drive?

Other than that.. I can't wait to see what this will become!

Thanks Nixjuh - Yes I'm going to use a slot-load slimline DVD drive which will actually eject to the side, but the side panel has to be off. I don't use it so it doesn't bother me.

Haha thanks guys. I just got back from a short Christmas holiday yesterday and I have some things to do today. I have made some more progress after the update, but I think I'll hold it back a while ;)
