Where better to turn than a bunch of nostalgic geeks? This has been bugging me for a good couple hours now... I remember a tv program I used to watch as a kid (90's) which came on a compilation VHS that was based around of Space Police (Possibly cowboys, maybe soldiers) who were all based on a large ship and went out to fight space villians and the like. If I remember correctly, the intro involved an alert on the ship and all the crew running to their ships with lots of woosh's and space craft. Another two vague memory's of the program was of one episode where they went to a planet (mars?) and rode robotic horses looking for some trouble maker or another. Another involved one member of the crew using his magnetic books to retrieve a corrupt robot from underneath a vehicle where it was hiding. Is this ringing any bells with anyone or am I going to have to rot my brain out trying to remember what the hell this program was called. Please assist!
BOOM. Found it. So pleased. I remember maybe 5/6 years ago, my mum handed all of these videos into a charity shop and nearly ever since I've tried to remember what is was called. I feel reborn.
Way too much time was spent going through old cartoons on youtube because of that thread lol I was at work and couldn't view the vid link but was going to guess at Bravestarr from your description. Turns out it's not that but the details are similar *trundles off to watch Bravestarr and ends up watching Star Fleet...................again*
Well here is another challenge for you, 80's Cartoon based around King arthur (as a child i think) he is rescued by merlin in the first episode from a fire at the castle Uther Pendragon featured heavily at the start then if i recall correctly died in the Fire at the end of the second episode they are rescued by a knight wearing green oh and if anyone has the full series im willing to pay for ut
The only things even vaguely close to that description that I can think of are King Arthur and the Knights of Justice or Prince Valiant. I really can't think of anything else even slightly like it from that era.
I was going to suggest Galaxy Rangers or Bravestar (purely due to the horse, ThirtyThirty), I did have the DVD of the first episode of GR, but it's gone missing (little fingers not putting it back into it's box ).
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xj...anime-episode-1-part-1-italian-dub_shortfilms here are a few clips awesome stuff seems to be incredibly rare however and this is all that is availible (bar the Italian dubs on daily motion)
Definitely going to be looking out for a super cheap set of Galaxy Ranger dvd's! Got plenty of cheesy, camp kids space based cartoons to keep me busy with to.
