Has anyone got forearm or full sleeve ink? I'm having a spot of forearm script done on Sunday (after 4 years I've taken a while to book it), just wondered if people of here have some good ones? I'll post up a pic of mine once it has healed in a couple of weeks time..
Thats a very old picture of the top half of my sleeve. Courtesy of Valerie Vargas at Frith St Tattoo, Soho. Its fully finished now and I'm working on the other one.
Nice colours and an impressive piece of art. However, I may be wrong, but your arm is part of the Illuminati conspiracy - best hack it off just to be sure...
Here's what I had done. I know it's not very big but I intend to design some more soon. That pic was taken an hour or so after going on and right now it's nice and scabby For some reason in the pic it looks very fine, looks much bolder in reality. I blame my photography skills on my phone camera... Great work there viewasjack, nice and vibrant
Not on the arms (yet - that's slated for this time 2013, roughly... ), but I have one on my calf (not particularly well done, but I like the design of it), and one on my stomach... forgive the cruddy cell-cam pictures. They both look better in real life. The stomach one will be extended upwards onto my left shoulder and arm (into a full sleeve - that's next year), and downwards onto my right leg. Next up for me is a small piece on the neck. pics: Right calf: Stomach (baaaad pic... looks a million times better now that it's healed - cellcam does it no justice at all)
You read that right... shake before use. That's what it says. It's a looooooong story involving some of the best friends in the world... so while some might think it stupid, it means the world to me... that's the one that's gonna be extended.
The shading was SO dark when it was fresh (when the photo was taken... literally 10 minutes after it finished)... Like I said - it looks a lot better now...
Just because we're showing off ink, this was taken on the day i got it done (Saturday, 11th Feb 2012). The bruising is obviously way less now, but this is the only descent shot I got of it so far... Will take another one after the touchups (as necessary) have been done in a few weeks.
You all have my admiration for putting up with the healing process. I have one on my right shoulder and one at the top of my right arm and I honestly can't decide what was worse - the itching and not being able to scratch or the discomfort from the skin healing (and not being able to touch it either) I can't imagine putting up with either across larger sections of my skin without stabbing myself in the face.
My main tat (can't post other one... it's a family-friendly forum ) Planning on getting one last one some time this year.
The healing of tattoos sucks a bit, agreed... but with me bein allergic to virtually half the world and having Neurodermatitis, I am used to itching...
Bepanthen and Unguteneum B took care of all my healing itchiness. I have eczema on some of my skin, so it's itchy as hell, but those two creams made all the difference. I know bepanthen is normally given out, it's just nappy rash cream and works a treat. The Unguteneum (sp?) is used to relieve the itchiness of eczema and it was awesome.
