bulletstorm and red faction armagedon are worth a punt

 

Amazingly, I've never played a Sonic game.

Does anyone have anything good (or bad) to say about Generations?

Bulletstorm worth every penny at that price.

The first time you use that sniper rifle/guided bullet combo to get head shots it'll put a smile on ya face.

Definitely underrated, finished it the other day after getting it in the Origin sale. The only part that I found difficult was that crazy room in Act 7 Chapter 1 , those who've played it will know the one ,ended up head shottin the heavy armor guys' masks off then just finished em with third head shot - Bossed!

Just worth adding , if you're an experienced FPS player set Bulletstorm to the very hard setting for max challenge.

 

The best Red faction was the first. Anything after was a dive!

 

ROFL, Steam rocks in region locks. Today free achievement game (Rusty Hearts?) is :
a) region locked
b) IP locked.

So while i can install the game using steam://install/36630 , i can't create an account in a free game because following countries are IP banned :

Oh, and no Bulletstorm on Steam for me (Origin has no problems showing it for me, but their price is 20€).

 

So basically all the Eastern European "rogue nations" are banned. Priceless...

As for Bulletstorm, I will gladly gift it to you, but there's money to be saved if you could get some dashing English gentleman to do it for you... Personally, it's too expensive for me.

@Bulletstorm: It was just to show the fact that how screwed the system is, and i have few UK friends who can buy it for me if i decide to buy it, but thanks for the offer.

@Rusty Heats: Seems like i was able to install and then register using their website, maybe they forgot to put the restriction on the website and have it only ingame + steam region locking ?

 

Beat Hazard is wicked if you have some good dance tracks - although if you sensitive to light certainly not the best game in the world :s i have just been playing it for 30 mins or so and am seeing lights dance in front of my eyes and for £1.74 (or £2.11 for the complete pack) it would be rude not too

Oh whatever, did the task, no achievement. Whatever, game is going to be deleted in few seconds . I tried .

 

So far in sales bought stuff below spent £68. Best deal was warner bros pack but it got taken down after 24hrs. New batman & lord of the rings plus fear collection etc was a steal. Now just need time to play them. (should just about keep me going to summer sale)

So far have only bought a few games in the sale. Hugely impressed with The Witcher 2, GOTY for me i think. Only problem is normal difficulty seems way too hard, but definitely recommended if you haven't picked it up already. Limbo was cool too.

 

Out of perverse curiosity: what did the WB pack cost?

 

I will throw my 2 cents in and also say that Bulletstorm is also worth a few quid.

Great fun game, some insane firefights, likeable characters, linear as hell but the "kill with skill" makes it more interesting and the MP is great fun.

Holy bat bargain!! Thats cheap....retail £25, steam sale £20.

 

it was £39.99 for the pack. bonus was i only had bastion out the pack.
batman city is exellent lotr war in the north is disapointment
