Great song. I love the famous Dawn of the Dead 'music video' to it:

    Meanwhile:

Feels bitterly ironic at the moment, weather's miserable and cold.

After watching Wall-E this evening I was reminded of John Ratzenberger's rise to fame in the epic TV series, Cheers.

The theme song is pure bliss.

Rodrigo y Gabriela, lots of on you tube. Coming to Glasgow in February, really looking forward to seeing them play.

She can actually sing well! I was expecting terrible, terrible failure, youtube is full to the brim with painfully bad amateur musicians doing covers.

Good music, too. Adding this to my long, long list of reasons to buy Skyrim.

Yeah. It's very good IMO. She is probably one of the reasons why there are so many people trying to sing songs from Skyrim. Her other video got over 3million hits (about 4,5million if you count the repost IGN made instead of linking directly...) and people want to copy the success.

If you haven't seen it already, see the other one as well. It's the best of the two. :)

Are people being ironic when they recreate or say they like the music in Skyrim, or do they actually really like it? Because I think its crap, and naff crap at that. The sort of stuff you might hear in a low budget US TV fantasy series.

No, I really love it. But as they say, there's no accounting for taste ^^

I'm still listening to Mogwai, two years after discovering them. It's become a very bizarre fixation, I listen to almost nothing else.

I had the same thought about Skrillex. At first I thought it was a joke, but it is actually people that listen to it and (apparently) love it.

Discussing what's "good" music is pointless IMO. :) One can talk about what's good in theory, but music doesn't necessarily sound good even though it's technically superb. Just look at Dream Theater. Very good artists, but many people dislike the music they make even if they like that genre. (And some dislike DT simply because they dislike DT fans. ;) )
