Went to London Zoo and so far this is the pick of the bunch, there are more on my flickr. Shot was taken with 5DmarkII at 2000ISO with a 70-200 f2.8L no processing other then the usual Crop & Border
Cute shot. You definitely caught a good expression, and the bit of rope is a nice touch. However, The image is just so soft. You stated that you did no processing other than crop and border. Is there a reason you didn't apply any sharpening or reduce the noise a touch?
Not really touched it with noise reduction kinda liked how it was as the eyes are so sharp just draws you straight in, might give it a bash in noiseninja apart from that think sharpening would add to the noise[in my experience anyhoo]
Sharpen then noiseninja? I agree with supermonkey that the softness is a bit weird. makes it feel lacking to me.
Had a look at NN last night it confused me lol i'll see if there are guides, it was shot at f2.8 so dof was pretty small.
