Windows ad/spy ware

Is there a single piece of software that removes spyware/adware if now which is the best for doing both individually?

Also, spybot S&D, particularly the 'immunise' function which alters the host file to redirect known addresses linked to spyware to localhost so that they cant call home.

 

Superantispyware and Malwarebytes are what i use never had a problem with them
