    Just had to jump in to say that your build is sensational :rock:

    If I could, I'd nominate it and you, for mod of the month and mod of the year. Brilliant use of materials and all built yourself too. You take modding to a new level. Well done! :clap:

    The POWER LED;

    In one of awesome project I saw a good idea to use the brass pipe nut and PIR sensor.

    I made a triple PWRLED with sound activation, and it will glow at half brightness and pulse with the bass.

    This is a very simple scheme which has two parts: a microphone amplifier and three transistor keys.

    Finally, I painted all the wooden parts with wood stain, and then applied four layers of marine varnish.

    Some of my soldering works;
    These are old photos. One day I found a piece of copper and decided to make another water-block.
    [IMG]

    "Copper barbeque"
    [IMG]

    This "barbequed" piece of copper was made flat with a help of two wooden planks and few hits with sledgehammer.
    [IMG]

    Then I cleaned it with a bench grinder, cut it and sanded again.
    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    Then I drilled the base and made the needles from 4mm wire.
    [IMG]

    Then the needles were tinned and pressed into the base with a hammer.
    [IMG]

    Afterwards I put it on a gas cooker.
    [IMG]

    After soldering I cleaned it up.
    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    I also tried to make the cover but this time I failed. May be next time I will make a new one.

    I also made the filler neck, through which I will add water to the system.

    Waynio, Pranja, k4p84, thanks.:)

    Continuation:
    I put a new thread onto all tapered fittings, and after that two water-blocks were assembled and tested under the pressure of 5 bar.
    (Sorry for the picture quality.)
    [IMG]

    Then I cut out the plate from 3,5mm duralium in the shape of a gear; painted it, decorated with special effects and vanished it.

    When I completed the assembly of water-blocks I decided to test the water-cooling system, using the old hardware as the new one is in another case.

    For the moment it's not the final stage of the project. All pipes and wires will be fixed and hidden.
    For now I will be working on the front panel and other parts of the computer.
