Right now I am running a 2.4B Intel and I think the stock heatsink is really holding back my overclock. So I am looking to get a nice heatsink. here are some choices that look interesting Alpha PAL8942 w/Panaflo 80H1A 39.6 cfm 32 dB 3 pin Vantec Aeroflow Any other recommandations are more then welcomed
Why "Wrong Forum"? Gretzky wants to Overclock. That is the "Overclocking" part of the forum header. Gretzky wants advice on a new heatsink. That is the "Hardware" part of the forum header.
its now in the right forum WireFrame, haddy is the mod on the extreme cooling forum which deals with water cooling and occassionally phase change, Gretzky posted it in there and haddy moved it here! anyway... Gretzky the alpha is arguable the best heatsink money can buy so thats a good choice, if u can tolerate the most annoying noise in the whole entire world then get an 80mm delta screamer but apart from that your choice of fan is good balance of noise/airflow
