    thanks a lot m8´s!!!

Unfortunately, we received bad news from CM in the last days....due to an error in the communication there isn´t any free space on the CM Cebit Booth available, where they could place the cosmos 2 mods... so we can´t show the final mods there...

But thats brings us also a bit more time to complete the mod with all the details we had in mind....when we started the plannings for both mods.....:thumb:

And the PSU also arrives in the last days

But now enough of the words....here is the next video....this time both motors were controlled by the arduino...

    and now the pics....

    HDD Drive Cage Cover installed...

2in1 Slim Line Drive Cage installed....

Custom Cover for the Mini ITX Cables bended and painted....

    Radiator Cover in it´s place...

then we made a few badges out of thin aluminium, their engraved and then the engraving was filled with paint...they should be placed on the midcover together with a CM badge....

then we made a mounting plate for the arduino and the DC/DC Converter for the Mini-ITX System....

    then the PSU arrived....

then we made a few "elbows" for the watercooling setup...so that we could prepare the tube routing as far as possible....

    and here´s a first pics...with Light in it....:D

    thanks a lot m8´s!!!

in the last days a few errors in the communication has been clarified so that we can now continue the building process and work out the final details we had in mind....but at the moment i can´t show you any updates of further progress....because we´re waiting for the next parts to arrive....

In the waiting time we continue the work on the second cosmos 2 project we´re currently working on - Cosmos 2 GT -

    Cool stuff, as always.:D
I like the little black and white fittings you made too. They gave me the scary thought of making an entire hard-pipe system like that. I'll leave that for someone far more insane than me to try...

Seems fair. I'd hate to think they had to fight over who got to use this one.

Wow! That's absolutely sick mate, really looking forward to seeing it progress. I have three Cosmos S's at the moment, 2 main ones air cooled and another for my server with a whopping external rad, have to post some pics some time. Love the look of the Cosmos 2, but can't justify the extra spend at the moment, or the change to the side panels. In my office they'd be pain to take off, but your making me want to find a way around that :). Good luck with it mate!

    thanks a lot m8´s

And also thanks a lot for the MOTM nominee!!!

In the last days we continued the work on the Case :thumb:

But before we start, we want to send a big thank you to Adata !! They´re providing us the memory for the ITX System!!:thumb:

first we started with the CPU Waterblock...it had to be painted...so that it matches the theme of the case...

After receiving the RAM for the Mini ITX System we couldn´t wait to assemble it. Because, now the 1st system is nearly ready for the first test.....

And we also started to build a few new cover for all those cables and extensions which we´re going to use...

    The first one we made...

but that was a fail, because we made a mistake during the first measurements for it...so we had to make another cover....

    thanks a lot!!! :thumb:

it´s time for an update again :D

In the last days we continued the work on this mod...

After painting the CPU Block we switched over to the cable management (still a lot of work)....

To keep the case as clean as possible we decided that we´re not going to route the cables from the Fans on Top of the case down to the bottom, instead of that we took a small fan controller (which we had in our workshop from a prior build) which we´re going to place next to the fans on top of the case...

beside that we made a little experiment.....a few days ago i found this instructable regarding electro etching and found it very useful so we wanted to give it a try....

the first test results in a fail because we let it etch too long ...but the 2nd test was already much better....

After that experiment we already started to paint the cover for the mini itx cables & ports...
