Lighting a HAF 932 with Sound Reactive LEDs

Just finished up a lighting mod and wanted to share it out for some feedback.

I didn't take assembly photos, but wrote up some detail in the video. The video's long, at about 7 minutes, but is broken up with some sweet Boston Dynamics bot footage.

I know some are averse to lights in a case. I hope this mod changes one or two minds.

Hey Bill, I wish we could see builds from you which are more clean. Most of the builds lately have been on the same lines.

Dont get me wrong, I like what you do and you are great at what you do, but somewhere I think you have got stuck in a genre and would love to see those skills being put to use on something different.

 

If a client wants a "more clean" build, like one for Fractal, (I posted Dec 27th, in this thread). than I will. Otherwise if given artistic license, I'll do whatever type of build that I like. Modding is an art form that can be very therapeutic. Do what YOU what you want. If all Modders always aimed for mass appeal, our community would be full of blandness and nobody would dare to push the boundaries anymore.

I've found myself looking at lots of builds and part of me goes meh or even get's irritated at a lot of sameness in some builds by different people or even by the same person, but I understand that at the end of the day each individual build is somebody's pride and joy and who am I to judge ?

It would be nice if every single build in the Project Logs was different and unique, but at the end of the day I'm just an observer as long as people are happy and enjoy their projects and get what they're looking for out of it, that's the important thing.

{Engage whiny kid mode} Tho' I find it a bit harder to keep the Petulant Little Brat TM in me quiet when someone keeps churning out the same kind of thing over and over again,{Disengage whiny kid mode} tho' in Bill's case, no pun intended, it's driven by customers.

Hopefully that makes sense
