Repair skill. Why bother getting equipment on it when its going to be sold soon. Save you credits.
The IS is a mediocre for its tier tank while the KV's where both by large margins the best in tier.
Don't worry the IS3 is fantastic.
Also I don't know if your aware but when the Russian heavy split eventually comes the KV,KV3 and IS4will all net you a garage slot and free tank.

 

I once did it all by myself once in my type 59. I just sat there while the other team bounced shots of me.

i acually had a good game or kormain with my tigerP...
i told everyone to follow me ( i was top tank ) to cap...
the T1 heavy, and m6 heavy in a toon got there...and parked sideways either side of the my tiger
which they both did, and they promptly died. thanks to jagdpanther and kv derp but became insanely large obcects for most of the 7 teamates hid behind the ( pretty much ) impenatrable tigerp, and the 2 dead T1s i was safe from the hetzer, killed the jagdpather, almost got the kv ( pziv got the killing blow )
we just capped, while an amx12t went for a pretty aweseome run, damaging 5 of the enemy capping tanks almost completly re-setting their cap
we won by a large margin
total game time, just over 4 mins
our plan would have been messed up, but there was NO arty

just got me t34-85, its not bad!

 

Well, since I need another premium tank in my garage to farm credits, I think I might go for T-34

The math:

Grinding it on server now + paying gold to convert the xp:
16.000 gold

Getting it after patch is 12.000 gold I can afford those extra 4K to get two tanks and most of the US three researched and get the new Tier 9 tank

I had an awesome battle in my amx12t yesterday where I hero'd 90% of the game.

Then our attack (12-9 to us at this point) decided to stop for a tea break.

Their last two tanks have time to cap (by the end of the game).



490xp for a T5 loss.... DAMMIT!

And then to top that off, I win my next battle for my double and get 650xp total for that. Why couldn't they have been the other way around!

 

It's alright, I had a worse one yesterday. Mountain Pass in my IS4, killed 4 tanks on their team (I was on the bridge) and halted the advance of their best tanks in the ditch thing on the right side of the map. Then two lights got through and capped before I could get there - how much more did I need to do?!?! 1024xp for a loss...

 

Ouch. Nuff said.

i had a silly ass match just after i got the long 88 for the tigerP
me and an IS were on mountain pass starting at the norhten base, he had the id10T, the early scouts had wiped out most of his health before it took an 88 to the backside
so me and the IS ( our 2 top tanks ) went to the bridge, and together ( him hiding behind me ) we took out just about all the enemy team ( i think in total we got 11 kills ) somehow the lemmings died and they enemy capped ( as i turned around some lucky idiot in a pziv took out my engine ) i struggled back to prevent them capping but only managed to get one shot off ( a sherman, dead in 1 hit ) unfortunatly i was capped by a kv and i couldnt prefent the 2 tanks left from capping ( yes for those doing the maths only me, the IS, got kills exept a single amx that got enemy arty ) i walked away almost beating my personal reacord in xp 1000xp ( FOR A LOSS ) a confederate medel, steel wall, a huge amount of credits, but utterly deflated in the long run...

 

I got one shotted by a GWTiger in my Tiger II last night on campinovka, literally 30 seconds after the start of the battle, talk about a lucky shot.

Needless to say I was not impressed by the 125 XP and negative credits...just over 14k to repair!

Why is that

 

I'm getting a bit fed up of randoms; you get in a nice postion start killing stuff and then watch as your team dies one by one and you're the only one left. Redshire, north start. Tried in my IS-7 to start an attack down the one line only to realise that a solitary IS was following me. Had to abort and tell him not to push as we had no support.

How did you get your stats done for you?

Your average damage sticks out; you've inflicted less than your own tanks health.

 

That's because I'm not very good Although I do one day hope to be merely below average ....

Global stats and yesterdays efforts .....



The stats are from Planet WOT .... linky you register and it tracks your WOT account and gives you stats each day , comparing them to your averages etc. It also gives you pretty graphs and pie charts of various things .

Also it keeps track of the stats for each tank for all the users like this .... so you can compare with others .

 

Haha I just signed up and according to my statistics it says:

Based on defense/capture ratio Xye_Sol is an extremely offensive player.

(I don't think I have offended anyone!)
