Other Clearing out HDD space what to do with old pictures...

So /b *opps I mean Bit-tech*

I have been clearing out my HDD's, defragging etc etc.

I came across a folder with pictures of my Ex-GF. (Not nudes, General photos together)

Now I face the challenge of keeping these pictures of us together and thinking ahh that was a nice time.

Or

Deleting them as that's probably what she has done with her copies.

Could it be worth RAR'ing it up and storing it somewhere or would you guys say SHIFT + DEL?

If it was you what would you do?

So far today I have been trying to make memes out of them with my lacking skill in Photoshop.

Errrm....Shift+Del? It's only gonna cause more hassle with future relationships.

 

Put them on a flash drive and put said flash drive away in a safe place. Or delete them. If you're having trouble moving on then constant reminders like these will not help.

 

I would personally keep them because you can't bring them back once they're gone. Just zip 'em up and forget about them. Let your subconscious decide. If you never look at them again, no loss; if you do then maybe they were worth keeping.

 

agreed, put them on a USB stick or somet and throw them in some kind of keep safe shoe box or somet and then if later down the line you see it and dig it out and look at it, you can then decide if you want to keep or like stated before shift+delete.


Personally being me I dont have any pics of me and my ex's, i just have the eternal punishment (memories) which I cant erase and thats enough for me

This is the situation I see a few years down the road....

- Your new wife is unpacking stuff at your newly acquired home and she comes accross a box where she finds that USB you stored the pictures on. Being the curious type; she sticks the thing in her laptop and that's when the fun begins.

It won't matter to her that you haven't looked at teh pictures in years, it won't matter to her that you didn't even remember that you had the USB... All that will matter to her is that you were keeping pictures of ANOTHER WOMAN.

Just get rid of them, use the space to save pictures of the new GF and be done with it.

 

Shift - Del Its the only real option.

I know i hate seeing pictures of my GF with her ex and Im sure if you GF saw pics of you with your ex in a rar they wouldnt be happy

 

I would delete, delete and delete, why keep them you have pictures of yourself surely

 

Keep the memories, not the pictures...

 

Delete them, the trouble they could cause in the future just isn't worth the hassle

 

Print out 1000 of them with "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE IT THIS GOOD AGAIN!!!" on them, hang them up at every service station, bus stop and public park in a 50 mile radius THEN delete them.

Shift delete isn't enough. Format the HDD, then hit it with a hammer. It's the only way to be sure..

Get rid of them man, what's happened has happened. No point on dwelling in the past.

Actually, upload them all to FB, but crop her out!

Personally I've always deleted photos, some (normal (read:at nice place) photos) I wish I'd kept, but generally I say delete.

Other half on the other hand, still has all photos, NSFW and all which I used to feel plenty iffy about but it's not as if they're constantly (if ever (especially as the memory stick has been in my desk for longer than I'd like to think)) looked at!

Either way, delete if you would rather. If not make sure your next other half knows, and will be tolerant!

 

Delete and move on to a brighter tomorrow.
