    Are you not worried of corrosion with the Alu tubes?

    discussion with a friend who studies in chemistry, I asked for the installation of aluminum and copper in the same circuit ...

    conclusion: you can use the aluminum and copper in the same system if you put anti-corrosion additives in your liquid. only constraint, since the liquid loses its additives over time it will consider making a purge every 6 months ...

    because this afternoon I made my aluminum tubbing ... have now to order my tips SLI.

    I have always thought that if I make a water cooled rig someday, I'll definetly use metal tubing. Fantastic work! :thumb:

    That tubing does look fantastic. I would be very wary of aluminium and copper loops. I used anti-corrosive coolant and my aluminium topped CPU block still corroded in only a couple of months.

    what type of fittings where used with the aluminum tubing to get it to seal ?

    how did u get the aluminum tubing to seal to the fittings?...flare or compression?

    bump...can anyone tell me what kind of fittings are used to get that metal tubing to seal ...im sure the fittings going into the blocks are g 1/4".......and where can u get those type of fittings ???
