Update 9 The package from Aquatuning finaly arrived. They sponsored me with 1x Cougar Vortex V12S, but in addition they also sent me an another fan, witch is a Phobya Nano-2G 12 PWM Silent 1500rpm Red LED Double Blade and told me that I had to write a review of it. So i will write a review of it, and post the link to it here. But enough text, here is some pictures of the fans I got from aquatuning: And it looks like the Phobya fan has some candy with it The fans, first the cougar fan: And then the Phobya fan: The fans side by side: Thanks to Aquatuning!
Update 10 Yesterday I painted the front and the top. The temperature was not good at all, but I painted it anyway, since I want to have the paintwork done before The Gathering. So I might sand it down and repaint the case later. I did also mount the cougar fan Aquatuning sponsored me with on my cpu cooler. I hope that the the new GPU cooler is coming tomorrow. It is the same as the one I got now, but the one i got now has a broken fan. I did paint the cover on the gpu cooler too. Enough text, some pictures here! No good temperature... Music is a must! Ready for some paint: And painted: The gpu cooler cover i painted: And some pictures of the case assemblied: Thats all for now, stay tuned for the next update. Thanks to all sponsors!
Orange and black yes i like it (just like red n black and white n black ) will keep an eye on this one!
Update 11 I arrived at The Gathering yesterday, but this update did not come before now because I had to change my motherboard at arround 1am this morning (Thursday). So, here is some pictures of my case and shelf. Some new might come as well later. Testing some leds: Thats all for now, stay tuned! Thanks to all sponsors!
The gpu cooler? I just took the fan of the new one and mounted it on the old. The problem is, that it broke under the gathering. So I need to buy two more
Update 12 The secound package from Phenoptix arrived yesterday! The content was 30 3mm Orange DIP LEDs, 12 3mm Orange prewired LEDs and 15 0603 SMD LEDs! I guess they sendt me 3mm leds that is not prewired since the prewired is out of stock. I asked for prewired, but no problems with that, since i have changed my LED idea, so i dont need to remove the resistors now Thank you for sponsoring me with these leds! Here are some pictures of the leds: Testing the prewired leds: Testing the DIP leds: The SMD leds is damn small! I could not test and take picture at the same time. Here it is beside a 3mm led: Thanks a lot Phenoptix!
Thanks Writing the update now, it might not come out before tomorrow. I can tell you that the updates has pictures of some boxes with stuff i won at the gathering.
I really like that colour too, I've been doing some green, it shouldn't work but it most definitely does. The future is Orange...
Update 13 In this update I will post pictures of the stuff I did get for free and won in competitions at The Gathering. I will also post some pictures of the LEDs when I'm testing them where they will be. First, the stuff I won in competitions: Some of the stuff.. The logitech G9x: The Razer Orca: The Silver Power SP-S650: The two gpu's i won, XFX radeon HD 6670: The Logitech Gamepad F310: And the stuff I got for free with no competition at all: 7 mousepads: Some CAT5e cables: Razer cup: And this one is hard to belive that I actually got for free with no competition at all! Yes, I did get an Corsair AX 1200W FOR FREE!! I tested out some LEDs in the side on the acrylic sheet: I can tell you one thing, SMD leds is a hell to solder on a fan controller! I think I used about 20 minutes to get one SMD LED on the fan controller. I used the pins on a 3mm led to hold the smd led on its place and soldered at the same time. Damn hard..Anyways, here is the result: And thats all for now guys, stay tuned for more. Thanks to all sponsors!
