    Hi all,

Just thought I'd put this question out there, not really sure where to start with it.

Basically I'd like a category system for my site, and would like to know what would be the best way to go about it, would it need to be done using PHP? Javascript?

I've built my own site but I'm a noob, and I'm starting to get quite a few pages so I'd like to make it easier for people to navigate around the site.

Obviously I see most sites with category systems, I was wondering if there is a standard that sites mostly use?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of websites are built using a CMS like Joomla, so a lot of the hard work is already done - all you have to do is supply the template and content.

Thanks for the info I'll give Joomla a go.

At the same time, I'd love to try and learn to build my own system (even if it seems to be extremely difficult lol) or at least research how it works underneath.
