Hi Guys, I make this drawing to show you what I'm thinking to do on the case. That are the two "door" of the case. On the left you can see the right door, where in the photos you can see all the sleeved cables. I want to removed the plexiglass and make a window with satin plexiglass: in the middle of it, I'll put a sign in stainless steel, with my nickname "Dave2010", retro-illuminated with green led stripes (excuse for the italian language in the drawing). On the left door, I'll add two grills below, to make the airflow better on the radiator 240 mmm in the bottom of the case.
Hi Dave, nice to see you here! So, i think it's a good idea changing the right door. In particular, i like so much the design of the laser-cutted plate. The transparent one, actually mounted on your mod, doesn't impress me so much, sincerly...
Hi Doctor!!! I think as you, in fact that door doesn't impress me for a long time, and now I decide to change it...stay tuned!
I'm not a fan of the green color, but this is a fantastic mod after all! And I love your attention to details especially your cable management
Thank you very much 330td!! In this mod I especially paid attention to the details, because I love to have a perfect mod, in every its little particular.
Here I am!!! I took this panels this afternoon, from my personal lasercutting-friends Mario! The quality of the steel is so beatiful like usual, he's very very very good at his job!!!
Thank you stallo, you know that I admire you for your class! The compliments received from you make me very happy bro!! See you on our "place"! Thank you boy!!
Hello guys, today morning I try to get up early, but the last evening I made...emhh...some things that didn't permit to me to get up early... I make the cut in the plexi to put on the steel panel Dave2010. In the next days, I'll provide to mount the plexi on the door of the case. We are going to the end of the mod, so stay tuned for the final steps of that and for the final photos!! Bye!
Good evening! This evening I fixed the steel "Dave2010" on the satin plexiglass, cut the green plexi to put behind Dave2010, and I made the two rectangular holes on the other door of the case for the two grills. In this weekend I'll fix the green plexi behind Dave2010 and fix the satin plexi with the steel wording on the door of the case. I'll also fix the two grills on the other door. The last step of the mod, will be the improvement of the lighting, in the hardware zone of the case: this is very hard, because on the left internal side of the case, I have two projections that make me not sure at all to put new lights; but this aspect will be examinate well in the next days. Bye!! (Excuse me if my english isn't very well, but I try to not use google translator).
Here I am!! Like I promised to my modding mates, a thursday without my girlfriend is a modding thursday!!! You can find below, what I just finished about one hour ago! When the steel plate is mounted it gives a very beatiful effect! But, I must improve the lighting of it, because, when I turn off the light of my bedroom, the steel plate appear "turn off".
