    This is a project I spent the last 8 months working on with a team.

    It's the largest amateur rocket ever launched in Alaska at 12 feet tall, 6 inches wide, and 51 pounds.

    It was a part of NASA's University Student Launch Initiative NASA USLI


    Footage of a test launch for our rocket begins at ~1:32, the previous launches are rockets built by our NAR (National Association of Rocketry) Mentors.

    Our rocket had 6 microcomputers, 17 sensors, and an active energy management system.

    The most powerful computer on-board the rocket was a BeagleBone with an ARM A8 running Linux. It ran our control system logic, compiled sensor information, and logged data.
