Hi, Ive been trying to get my 9800 GTX+ to fold but it keeps failing. i've tried it on the dedicated GPU client and the v7 client, but to no avail. I am folding my CPU using the v7 client and that works perfectly.

please help as i want to get my GPU going.

if you need more info, ask away :)

    Thank you

Try GPU tracker instead and see what happens:

Do you get any error messages or anything specific?

Which driver version are you using?

    Has it ever folded before?

Do you have the error message from the log?

    How old if the card?

Do you have your monitor set to go to sleep at all?

    From your logs: CoreStatus = 7A (122)

    Extraction from here:
If so set it never to turn off and reboot your machine and give it another go...

Edit: Last possibility is that the card is on the way out.

it doesn't go to sleep if left alone. I do turn it off manually when I go to sleep because it annoys me, would that effect it then possibly.

I dont think switching it off manually would affect it.

Maybe try an older driver version?

I had similar problems with my 8800GTX where it would be unstable. I now know it was the card for sure as its stopped outputting to the monitor today. Thankfully I have a replacement being delivered tomorrow.

i played around with the performance setting making sure everything is max so basically the computer wont do anything unless i input anything into it. the gpu client has been working fine so far. no failures out of 3 new WU's. will let it run overnight and get back to you guys if it has solved the problem or not :)

Thanks for the advice and helps guys
