Great weekend, got hammered on Friday and found a bar playing rock music.... which is damn rare in Dubai!

Walked in behind two very nice girls, way out of my league. Got talking to them and by the end of the night one asked for my number.... unfortunately not the one I was after! I'd written it off but the next day the one I liked sent me a few texts..... clearly got my number from her friend. SCORE!

 

Stayed in the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh at someone else's expense.

 

I seem to make better music late at night... i've never thought about it but the only music i've made that i liked and enjoyed playing around with was past 11pm

too bad i can't make it at night as all my samples are on my desktop pc and my parents would be pissed if i started making bass heavy house and electro at night

 

Had an awesome weekend at a LAN

This is one of the reasons why I never stay in touch with an ex, no matter how it ends! (I only have one exception to that rule, and that's only cos she tracked me down on facebook!)

 

Thing is, the recent crazy one goes to the same uni as me, and has the same group of friends. It's tough trying to stoop to her level.

The one that text me last night, I broke up with her last summer, and we haven't spoken since (well briefly during the London riots as it was in her area). Was weird tbh! But it's all good!

 

After what can only be described as a dry spell of epic proportions, I have somehow managed to secure 3 dates with 3 different girls on 3 consecutive days!

 

Knowing my mums still alive, knowing I'm doing a good job looking after her.

 

Having a job where I can be off sick for a week and not be pulled in for a disciplinary about it, or have a 'manager' ask me how I'm going to not be sick in the next 6 months.

 

fibre internet gets connected thursday.

Got my health, able to eat a lot more.

gf is awesome.

Works going great. Been paid.

Freelance is going well, need to see an accountant. Lifes good.

Took me forever, but I cut six layers of 1000 denier Kevlar for the interior door armor on Knight's Rest. Tomorrow gets me started on assembling it all with the rheopectic armor added as well. Then I get to do the other door, then paint, then upholstery. But this was so hard it's been tying up the project for a while...
