    Nope lol

Ok, i collect my case from the painters.
I had it painted in Oyster White.I'ts slightly duller than pure white.I like it

Now i will go through all the holes and clear the paint out, with my M3 and M4 taps.
Need to do a bit of fiddling to get the panels to fit,due to the thickness of paint, but not that hard.
Still Braiding cables which i hope to finish this week. Then i can start fitting up the case

    Tip 456.

Insert screws into holes before powdering, then you dont need to tap out holes, not that tapping holes is a big problem of course.

Yeah, i have to agree slightly off white is nicer than in your face bright white.

I always assumed i have brightest white, but its amazing how many shades you can get.

Wheres the ssd rack, cant see it coated in pic?

be nice to see what colours you use to offset the white?, blue/ black chrome fittings maybe?

    Carry on.

I can see the join between top and front, which is a shame, but unavoidable i guess?

Trust you to have a tip Pete :D
Cheers Bluc, your mod should look good in acrylic ;)

Ok so i finally got round to finishing my braiding.
Not going to bore you with the process,as it's all been seen before.
I used Twisted 2 core braided cable, mainly because i had loads of it left over from previous builds.
If you've used this stuff, then you know how hard it is to use,one snag on a pin and it's ruined grrr.
The good thing about this PSU,is all the wires are black,so you don't get the see through problem, like other PSU's.
Some shots of the before, already stripped the 24 pin,so pardon me.:miffed:

    And my Power Switches.

I'm well chuffed and glad to say, this will be my last attempt at braiding,no more sore fingers Yippy.

    Here ya go pete,SSD caddy.

    Until next time ;)

Nice to see your progressing on this Andy.

Yeah tips are a forte :D. and options as you know.

SSd caddy is nice, not too fancy and lighting looks good, maybe a touch bright?

Not gonna comment on the braiding, as you guessed

    Hope to see more soon.

I placed some very fine mesh on the back panel cover plate, then secured it to the back panel.should keep the dust out.

Next thing to do is work out all the lighting and cable management,i always hate this stage of a build.:eyebrow:

    Front panel.

This is a crap shot, but you get the idea. Will look better once the rad and drive bay cage is fitted.

Edit:i have since diffused the effect of the Red Led,so it's alot calmer.;)

Next i placed my rad in position and secured it with magnets. These are not powerful magnets,so they won't cause any issues.

Fitted the top rad and tested them.I'm not having flashy led fans in the roof,i don't want to much lighting.

That's it for a few days as it's my birthday on Sunday,so plenty of drink and hangovers over the weekend.:D

    That looks really nice Andy.

Shame you dont have enough panel thickness, to sink that rear fan plate flush.

Its actually better than i was thinking it would be.

Thx Guys ;) Ye all good here Mike.I have made a start on your Cad design, will carry on with it when i finish this build ;)
Pete you make me laugh, it's like being back at school and the teacher telling how to improve my work,Love it :D

Ok, with my new K90 keyboard,i just didn't like the small lumpy palm rest
I like to have a sturdy base as i am a lazy gamer, who likes to put his feet up while playing online :D.

Sooo,i made my own rest.I used the old side panel from my Lian li case. (photo from ACE)
I forgot to take a shot of the folding i did,Dohh:wallbash:
Anyway i used an old Mouse mat.

I used some Double sided tape,to adhere it to the base.
And it came out like this.A corsair/Steelseries Hybrid :D
    [IMG]

Now i can kick ass online, without my hand slipping of the stupid lumpy palm rest .LOL
