Nabbed the msi oc version for £329, should be a great increase over my gigabyte 460. Anyone know how loud the fan is on the msi card?

I think you can pretty much guarantee that won't be happening. Did you notice just how long the 560Ti sat at the £185-£200 mark? Frikkin ages!

I'm looking forward to a 660 review though. Given the performance of the first two cards, the 660 will likely be the equal of a 580; with the huge advantage of having a relatively tiny power draw.

The GTX 670 looks like an incredible card for the price, perhaps too good as it makes me regret buying my £420 2GB Point of View GTX 680 when I did. I could have bought a 4GB GTX 670 for £20 less from Scan that ran almost as fast. The GTX 670 effectively makes the GTX 680 look either overpriced or underpowered, depending on your point of view.

Ah well, I shouldn't grumble too much as my GTX 680 has been terrific but I am honestly amazed that the GTX 670 comes so close to matching the GTX 680. Had the GTX 670 arrived three months after the GTX 680 at the same price it wouldn't have stung so much as you'd expect technological improvements over time to narrow the gap between cards but after a mere six weeks?

These cards are surely series 600 cards not series 6 ones as referred to in the review?

Don't care how great it is...until the prices get in the $200 dollar range I will not buy. My Radeon 6870 is 2 yr-old technology and runs new games just fine...and cost me less than half the price.

I cant get over how small it is. The cooler seems to be nothing but a token length extender so people take it in as a high end card. I know if I saw it with a more compact cooler I would immediately think it was low - mid range.

I was thinking the whole time about AMD 7950 card but seeing as this destroyed it on result and price below if not the same. I will buy a this GO Green.

My recently purchased £100 GTX570 still looks very good, only around 10-20FPS slower than it's £300 younger brother at 1/3 of the cost.

The review clearly shows it only being around 10-20 fps slower in most games...??

No, I am sure the performance figures are accurate, I was referring to the £100 for a GTX 570. Sounds like the bargain of the decade.

There only usually £130 on various forums and even ebay these days. In-fact a few have gone on 'bay sub £100 at odd times (granted most go for £150 there, but we all know how over-priced it is).

Picking one up for a little less is no big deal.

Are they used cards, though? Only it's not really a fair comparison if they are (not that it really matters).

Anyway, a great review for a great card. I think I'll get one to replace my HD5770 once the price drops a little.

100 smackers for a GTX 570 is totally worth it. Even if used, there's usually no problem. Just keep it in a cool case. :)

If not then look out for EVGA ones that have transferrable warranties.

Just saw a 'AMD Radeon HD 5770 4GB' listed in the heat graphs. Is that a typo, or just the most absurd card ever?

I have a GTX480, and still feel I dont need to upgrade for another 2 years.
