OK so what is the difference between translucent, transparent, sign and opaque? Tell me oh wizard behind the curtain.
Honestly, the stuff they refer to as "translucent" is practically opaque; you'd need a halogen light behind it to really see through it unless you get your superpowers from our yellow sun!
Thanks for the info. The white I used in this project is labeled opaque so I guess that means I won't be able to back-light it even though I might be able to back-light the bright translucent colors. When TAP uses the term "sign" I imagined a brightly lit translucent sign. The label Sign Opaque White got confusing real fast. No need to back-light anything really. In person, the colors are so bright they demand your attention. Walk into a room where it is sitting and you instantly notice it. It is quite literally "stunning" if I'm allowed to use that word. My camera can't capture that.
