Hi! I think 160w it's just what it need for a tiny configuration like this ! (mb itx+ram : 10-15w processor i3 2120T: 35w GC GT520: 30w SSD: 2-3W) so it's under the 100watts, and in my case I havn't a GC because I use the processor for the display.
back from holidays, tks for your compliments ! About the desk, I'm happy with it because he is really cheaper too, one bad point is about the feets which are too large...
http://www.modmag.net/news/modding-proekt-apple-cube-zavershen I haven't read this article before today !! It's on a Russian website !! Thanks to them take the time to write this article
WOW! That made for a great build log, stunning work. Are you still running it? have you done anything too it since? I've got a cube up in the loft.. I'm inspired. Well done. J.
Just had a look through the whole log again. Delicious! All the custom brackets and panels look factory.
This thing looks adorable! I'm somewhat surprised you didn't paint the fan grill white, but regardless, it still looks great. @RKGoonRaz Considering some companies out there making steam boxes were magically able to get a Titan or 780 working off of a 430w PSU, I don't think it's too big of an issue. Potentially it can drive a 750Ti or 750 but the performance will probably not be able to reach max (or the PSU won't be able to handle it) since the 750Ti can draw nearly 180W when under load (looking at Anandtech benches). PicoPSU may serve good though with the Haswell refresh (Devil's Canyon) because of Iris Pro (5000-5200) for Intel chips which is actually fairly good.
I haven't been on bit-tech for a long, long while and I come back to see this! Amazing! I am doing a m-ITX built very soon so I'm a grateful to find such awesome inspiration.
Hi guys, sorry I didn't check this thread for a long time, but it's a really big pleasure to discover all your kind words I sold the cube to fund the next project (a bartop, if you are interested this project is visible here : http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Overcl...odding/worklog-bartop-fini-sujet_279505_1.htm ) wich I sold too to fund my new actual project based on a G5 case. See you soon !
