I've been looking at these for a few weeks now. I need something to swap out for my old tinny creative speakers.

Very nice, I've been looking at the SOLO7C for music production, any chance of a review? :)

Very good at the price point. Idea for a squeezebox or similar.

I've had the SOLO6Cs since Christmas (basically the slightly bigger brothers to these) and I've been very happy indeed. From everything I'd read, they were far superior to 'PC speakers' in the same price range (T40s etc)
    Highly recommend :)

No headphone jack is the dealbreaker for me :(

    Sigh.

Just because you don't like the same music as them doesn't mean that it fails.

It's reviewer opinion. i for one also feel dub-step is fail, but it's still a good test of the speakers.

    Wub-wub-wub? That's tough!

These look like smaller cousins to my big ol' Tascam studio monitors. Incredible speakers (as you'd expect for something made for recording!) but heavy, expensive and just won't fit on my desk. These may be the middle ground I've been looking for!

The c6's are only 15 quid more. Are they worth it do you think?

Weird, I was just looking around for new speakers as well. Shame there is no headphone output. Any recommendations folks?

The 6c's are fantastic, bigger than I expected. Sadly I don't have the 1c's to be able to compare, at a guess though, these will go louder and put out more bass, the sound I get from them fills the room and is great for movie watching.. In all honesty, its only £15 extra so why not give it a go.

They are actually 20 quid more. The c5's are 15 quid more than the c1's.

I'm going see how much space I have, and if I have enough space I think a set of 76's are in order

Actually, I bought my Solo6Cs for £58 new from ebay- making them even more of a bargain.

Amazing they can make all that for that price point! The bass will no doubt be boomy...
