I've just loaded a bunch of soundtracks to my PC and these are a couple of Maurice Jarre's best pieces:

I've also got this song going around in my head at the moment. I only bought it last week but have racked up nearly 30 listens already. It's just so "nice".

The Black Dahlia Murder - Ritual (the entire album).
It's PROBABLY the single best album to come out in 2011. Even Mastodon's "The Hunter" and MachineHead's "Unto the Locust" can't keep up with just HOW much time I have spent listening to this album.

Softies beware, though - these dudes are substantially more "evil" than their looks give away. Especially Lyrically, it's pretty dark.

Other than that, it's loud, melodic (to me), grooving and full of energy.

Just picked up Com Truise - Galactic Melt reissue LP and his Cyanide Sisters EP. Real nice sounding glitchy electronic beats. I seem to have missed out on some great music over the last year or two. Having a little 2yr old boy might have something to do with that.

Meh, I still like Serj, but he's not as good on his own as he was in the band.

Elect the Dead was pretty awesome, Imperfect Harmonies was shite.

Looking forward to the new album though.
