    Update 20.

Today i made a new housing for the aquaero.Again i used 2mm stainless steel.
The housing is made out of 6 parts.

First i spotwelded, welded and finisht the housing

Then i made 2 plates for mounting the housing.

    Welded the plates.

    The old housing.

    The new housing.

In my opinion the housing looks mucg better now and im satisfied with the endresult.

Because Aqua Computer has no backplates for my blocks i made a few backplates myself.

The backplates are made of 2mm stainless steel.

Because the blocks have a brused stainless steel plate i want to brush the backplates also.
I used some sanding paper and some scotch brite for this.

    The result.

Because brushed stainless steel easily stains i painted it with varnish.

    Ready to paint.

    The end result.

    This was it for today.

Very nice revision for the aquaero, thought you done a sweet job on the first one but yeah this one is more compact. :D

Love how perfect you do this all from basic panels perfectly welded together & then pushed way past perfect into the land of pure awesomeness.

    Gorgeous back plates too. :)

    Too good to be true!

About your Aquaero housing, did you test the unit?
I'm thinking that you could have some trouble with Aquaero detecting wrong key presses? (because of the stainless steel used?)

I'm having weird reactions from the unit and it's hard to solve...

Thanks xSoMBrAx and are you using stainless steel because i dont have any probs with it.If you use steel maby the controller makes a magnetic field and you get weird reactions from that.

    Thanks a lot RustyTool.

I don't have any housing I'm just assembling the whole thing inside my case (alu) but it still gets some wrong readings...
I usually have to play with the screws and don't touch it too much lol

I've seen people with the same problem at their forums... hard to tell what is causing it :(

    Update 21.

After 3 weeks of holiday its time to work on the desk again.Monday its back to work again and today i made a little progress on the details.

First i re made the rad covers.

Then i took a piece of oak and cut it in pieces.

From the pieces i made triangles.

Now thats finisht its time to fit the rad covers.

Time to put the triangles in place.I have 2 options to mount them on the rad covers.

    Option 1.

    Option 2.

I like both options so maby i can make a chioce with the top on.

I still like both options so maby you guys can help me decide.

    More to come.

    Oooh, options. :D

Both are nice but I prefer mixed one, adds a touch more style. :)

    Nice rad covers too. :)

Nice the new rad covers look better this way with the extra wood details. I would go for option 1 ^^
