Couldn't sleep so a little Op Metro, most kills with C4. And witnessed another hacker. Followed to other server once round was complete. Reported him and told the other plays to report him too.

 

Ya, always satisfying.. Not to mention the RPG's and his C4 bombing from the sky.

@ Dom - I bet you're wrecked at work today, kept you late enough as it was!

 

Being up after 11 isn't a problem, being awake at 3am is. I don't start till 10am. Currently waiting for the bus.

The back escalaters at B whereplay ground. Also got some sly magnum shots on prone/revived players. Soon as no spawn protection they where dead.

Enjoyed it even if my dumb team let the same guy up tp knifee four times.

 

Some good games last night, not a single slug in sight.

Hopped on the ZiiP server in the evening and pretty much dominated with Naloac

I was going to add that i might be on late tonight but will probably be about my usual time.

Thursday if all goes well with delivery I will most definitely will be on a little later. New SSD should be arriving. Free next day delivery from Scan. Don't mind if I do.

Finally unlocked the extended mag last night for the AS VAL. The gun instantly changes. The ability to take on multiple targets springs out of nowhere and it becomes an assault rifle rather than a PDW! As soon as I equipped it, my K/D shot upwards. Feeling much better about the last 3 stars to come.

I'll be on as usual - let's see how the PC handles some real heat - hitting near 30 in continental degrees..

 

We had 25c yesterday. Was the damn heat that kept me awake. My next upgrade will be A single more powerful GPU and possible water cooling. Depends on whether i can be arse with the WC!

Any recommendations for good UK servers?

 

This is a good one. It's a 32 player server. I don't play on it anymore as I prefer the 48 - 64 player servers now. It will be a good server for a beginner though:

I must say, I had the game on PS3 and the 64 player matches are INSANE compared to the console equivalents.

Do you have the Back to karkand maps?

No I don't im afraid, couldn't justify the cost. I did have them on PS3 so I know what I'm missing. (or not missing...)

I may get them at some point, I have no interest in the close quarters maps though...I really don't like any of the TDM / DM variants....

Shame, but understandable. ZiiP run a 32-man Hardcore server, but we have some of the B2K maps spliced in there as well.

Hardcore sounds interesting....does that mean I will have to distinguish between friend and foe just through uniform or risk friendly fire....or is it not as hardcore as Red Orchestra 2?

Well hardcore you still see friendlies, just not the enemies and you ammo and cross-hair and there is no health regen except for health packs from medics.
Other than that you also only have 60% health and vehicles also do not fix themselves.
it is a different game play, less forgiving in some ways and easier in others.

 

Translation; Tanks are easier to kill, snipers are god.

Apparently there's nigh-on no bullet drop, either. Is this true? It'd make most sniping battles all the more interesting.
