    thank you mates!
it´s always nice to see when someone likes our work!!:clap::clap:

and again, it´s time for an update:

But before we start with the update, we want to send a big thank you to Coolermaster and Patriot for their help on this build!!!

In the last days we started to put together the first parts...(assembled the mainboard into the case)....

Beside that we connected a few copper pipe pieces....so that we could route servo cables through them.

We also made a copper pipe connection for the thermometer which will be covered by the iris...

As next, we switched over to the last side panel which had to be done....so we first made a quick layout how we thought it should look like, before we started to cut the side panel....

it´s time for the next update! :D

In the last days we started to build the reservoir for the System, it should be placed within the drive cage. The Pump will be mounted directly to the backside of the reservoir, that way we save a bit of free space and we don´t have to find a free place for it :D

We started with cutting out all needed plexiglas parts so that we quickly could glue together the first parts....and start painting the first internals of the reservoir....

after that.... we filled the bottom of the reservoir with a mixture of epoxy and sand to generate a small seabed witin the res. Then we put the internals in the mixture so that everything will be fixed in its place....

Beside that we also started to build the mounting bracket for the SSD which we got from Patriot.
For that we cleaned an old/damaged lan card, which will be used to mount the SSD on it. And both together will be mounted in one of the pci slots on the mainboard....

In the last days we continued the work on the reservoir and finished the work on the WC Loop...

To finish the work on our Reservoir we first cut out a custom cover for the front of the case, which will be placed upon the reservoir....

then we continued with the last parts which will be placed inside the reservoir and switched over to fabricate a custom Laing Pump Top....

Is there something preventing bits in the res from getting around the loop? I expect there is but asking anyway. :D

Looking excellent & nice progress rolling along. :dremel:

sure there was a very easy solution...no loose parts inside the res....even if it look like there were some loose bits....everything is encapsulated in the resin so that nothing could get inside the loop

Finally it´s time for the last update....after finishing the res, we had to hurry finishing everything so that we could take it with us to the Gamescom / Campus Party....

In the last few weeks we thought we should make a few additional parts for this system like a few matching usb sticks and a matching mechanical keyboard...

So we started over with a few stripes of copper which we cut from a bigger sheet and a small piece of copper tube....

after bending and soldering the first parts we cut out a matching piece of wood which could fill out the small space between those 2 copper stripes....

then we cut out a few mini gears ...

and also bended them a bit so that they could be attached on the side of the stick....

We also started to work on a matching keyboard, but before we start with that we wanted to send a big thank you to CM Storm for sending us their mechanical "Trigger" Keyboard for this mod!!!

Before we started to disassemble the keyboard we first started to build a frame around it which we´re going to use in the final version....

So we first made a few parts out of wood before we cut down a few pieces of copper tube....

    thx m8´s!!!

after finishing the first usb stick and starting over with the keyboard....we thought we should make another stick as well....and as you can imagine....we already started and finished the work on it :D
The building process was nearly the same as it was on the first stick...but this time we add a few more brass parts :thumb:

after that we switched over to work on the keyboard again...

But before we started to work on it again...
....we found a few nice little gemstones which we will use on a small detail of the keyboard....

(on the pic you can see one of them a 1.5mm sapphire / but instead of the sapphire we´re going to use a few tiny ruby´s on the keyboard....)

then we worked on the keyboard again....as next step we made a lower shell were the pcb of the keyboard can be mounted in....
beside that the keyboard was disassembled so that we could measure all necessary details to reproduce the cover of the original keyboard (not with all its details...but the spacings between the keys)

after that we made a first top layer for our keyboard...

which we stained right after the cutting process....

    thank you !!!

As next we tested a few details just to see how they would look like, when theyre mounted on the keyboard....

then we overworked the usb cable plugs.....

then we put in a few spacers and tested if the upper and lower side of the keyboard fits like they should....beside that we´re going to use those spacers to mount the PCB of the Keyboard...

After that we had to cut out a few plexiglas spacers (1 for every key) which could be plugged onto the switches of the keyboard.....

and before we could start to engrave and cut out the first keys we also had to this again....because after a first test we see that we needed a bit more of free space so we added another layer of spacers to every key....
but after that we finally could start with the keys....

and as one of the final steps we had to cut out a small ring for every key....

and last but not least....the keyboard and the prepared frame where brought together...
