    that tubes is my secret dream... i'd like to add such as temperature monitor in my next retrofuturistic custom-build... i have couple soviet tubes in shoe-box somewhere but device's electrical design still big black-hole for me

    What's the heat dump like on these? Can you toast with one or are they just warm?

    Wattage from just the display part would be nice to know too.

    They are like radio tubes --just a bit warm. Wattage is minimal --although they run at about 200V, the Amperage is tiny.

    Finlay a fan controller out of the ordinary :) love it
    however i would also like a fan controller with a 4-5 inch, 300+ ppi, multi touch display.
