in the last weeks we spent a lot of work in the legs...to get them finished...the time is running away...so we really had to make some progress....

It's a nice idea but the central body looks too small to me

    thanks a lot m8´s!!! :thumb:

aaah....that brings really disgusting pics to my head :D

.... but the scale is correct....so maybe the pics fool a bit....
(cannot count how often we compared the sizes of all parts with the sketches we had...)

    Today i have another update!!

In the last days we were spending every free minute for this project....and therefor we already made a big step into the right direction....

We started with the next parts which were needed to complete the inside of the Sidepanels....the weapon boxes.....

All needed parts were cut out of thin plywood....after cutting them out we glued all parts together and grinded the complete box so that we got even surfaces all around....

in the next step we added a few drawer excerpts to the central body....beside that we also mounted a few carbon&metal angles to the sidepanels so that we could mount the sidepanels on the excerpts.....

Your doing a great job and I'm not trying to undermine but have a look at this:

It really seems that the trunk should be bigger.

Also an idea for an alternative color scheme:

    thanks m8´s!!!

you don´t have to be feared.....for the moment...we stay at the original black/white color theme....

naturally we will do that, but i think it will take a couple of days ....because at the moment we´re really busy getting everything done until tuesday.....:D

oh no problem, we´re not taking it as an offense or anything like that....i also checked a few of your links and already found a point which causes a few differences....it´s the size... due to our informations the Turrets should be 58 inches tall(a guy from valve told this to another guy who was also building a sentry turret) and thats what we used as reference for all other dimensions.

Beside that we also have to make a few compromises just because we´re integrating a PC and a few motors in it....so in the end we´re not getting a scale model....:D

But now enough of the words.....it´s time for an update!!!

After putting everything together for the first time....we continued the work on the single parts...so we disassembled the body from the legs and started to prepare everything for the next layer of paint....

after that we prepared the motors with their gears....

Then we prepared the PSU so that we could mount it on the sidepanel, for the PSU we have to send a big thank you to Xilence! For their support with this nice little PSU!!! (exact what we needed)

and last but not least we prepared the body with a few holes so that we could mount the motors tfor the sidepanels.....
