    Concrete sidepannels...really? Awesome! :thumb:

Won't it weigh like a gazillion pounds with concrete pannels?

My concrete panels have cured during the night. They have a more grainy texture now.

How to hide the eject button on the DVD :)

#1 - One piece of thin wood stripe.

#2 – A groove in the front to fit the thin stripe.

#3 – A large hole in the front, you never know where the eject button is on other devices if you decide to switch it later on.

#4 – A extension on the eject button.

#5 – Glue it all together.

My last update for a couple of weeks, going on my summer vacation now. I'll be back in the workshop again in 3 weeks to complete this project.

    Last picture of some hardware.
“Asus E45M1-I Delux”, enough power for a HTPC and 5 sata ports, perfect for storage.

I love how awesome concrete looks, are you planning on polishing it or keeping the natural grainy finish?

Keeping the grainy finish, but will put on a coat of varnish to protect and change the color slightly.

Very elegant!! I´d like to play with concrete soon... It´s a good material, and it´s cheap.

    Thanks (again ;))
Can really recommend it, fun to work with and looks nice. And you can make it look so different, from the "raw" look I did, to hi gloss finish.
